Frequently asked questions
- Who pays the platform fee?
- By default the seller does: the buyer funds the trade amount and the seller receives that amount minus the fee. The fee model is configurable, and whichever model applies is frozen into the trade terms when the trade starts.
- Can the fee change after I start a trade?
- No. The fee, the amount and the payout are all captured in the trade terms snapshot when the trade is created, and that snapshot is hashed. Changing the listing afterwards does not affect an existing trade.
